****MAJOR NEWS****
We are very sad to her that Val Wheelhouse was taken into hospital in the early hours of yesterday evening at approximately 6:30pm. She was taken into hospital via Ambulance and was checked over and after the X-Ray scan we was told after a couple of hours that she had broke a bone on each side of her leg. Val has to stay in hospital and recover for the next few days and then she will be discharged however the Doctors have said that she'll need 6 weeks to recover before walking properly again.
sadly though this has men't that we've had to make the bold decision that Val won't be able to work with us in the upcoming months and this has stopped the filming until the new year for The Detective Series 2. Now one of the most recent short films 'Why Me' is set to begin shooting in a couple of weeks time however due to Val's injury, Val won't be able to direct as such however she has said that she'll try her best to attend the filming and do all she can to help out with the short film but it's a whole different story for The Detective Series 2.
We can't say much as of yet however the filming for her blocks in episodes 5 and 6 of The Detective have had to be put back until the new year so at the moment we don't see a major problem for the upcoming episodes that are to be released later this year however we can't 100% confirm that until we've gone though all the production work to find out how much we've got to do and if Val's injury will pause production completely.

Lewis's Wraps on The Detective Series 2 Episode 4
We can now confirm that Lewis Wheelhouse has wrapped for The Detective Series 2 Episode 4. With the episode in near completion on filming Lewis has wrapped his lines as both Detective James & Jack for the episode.
Lewis has said that he has really enjoyed filming the episode as he gets to play both the goodie and the baddie at the same time. This episode has a lot of twists and turns to look forward to with the return of Jack and a jaw dropping cliff hanger that you don't want to miss.
As well as it been a wrap for Lewis we have also completed filming in the Living Room/Kitchen interior of Detective James' house as it will get a revamp later on in the series however we have got an explanation to cover up why it will change.
The reason why Detective James' house will have a revamp is because the house in real life is getting another extension added to it as the wall will be demolished to make both the living room and the Kitchen one big room and we simply couldn't carry on filming in the new set without giving a clear explanation on why it's changed and you'll find out why by the end of Episode 4.
With Episode 4 in near in completion, we are underway with the filming on Episodes 5,6 of The Detective as they'll be the last 2 episodes of the series in which will be coming soon to MI10 Media.
